There are places in Round Top where you shop. And then there is Zapp Hall, where you shop, laugh, eat pie, drink champagne, dance to live music, and somehow end up at Prom on a Thursday night in cowboy boots.
Built in 1903 and sitting right in the heart of Warrenton, Texas - Zapp Hall is not just a venue. It is THE venue. The one people talk about when they describe what makes Round Top different from every other antique show in the country. It's Rowdy. It's fun. It's full of incredible dealers AND it has a vibe that is completely, unmistakably its own!
If you have been before, you already know. And if you have not, consider this your formal invitation.
Zapp Hall was built in 1903 by the Zapp family, making it one of the oldest standing dancehalls in the entire state of Texas. Let that sink in. Over a century of music, community, laughter, and probably a few legendary Saturday nights we will never hear the full truth about.
In 1968, the hall passed to the Evans family, who spent the next five decades turning it into the beloved gathering place people know today. It was under their stewardship that dealers started arriving from across the country, live music became a staple, and traditions like the Zapp Hall Prom were born.
By 1987, Zapp Hall became an official stop during Texas Antiques Week, and that was it. It was cemented. The beating heart of Warrenton. The venue that made people plan entire trips around a two week stretch of highway in rural Texas.
Only three families have ever owned this place in over 120 years. That kind of history does not happen by accident. It happens because every family that has held the keys understood the same thing: Zapp Hall was never just about the antiques. It was about the music, the people, and making sure everyone who walked through the door left with a good story.
Kay and Taylor took the reins at Zapp Hall in Fall 2025, but their history with this place goes back a decade. Their brand Leather and Vodka has been a Zapp Hall dealer for 10+ years, which means they didn't just buy a venue - they stepped into something they had known, loved and been apart of for a long time.
After attending the Fall, Christmas and Winter show, we can say for certain this transition feels exactly right. Fresh ideas. Deep respect for the legacy. And a family that understands that Zapp Hall has always been about more than just antiques. It's about the people who show up, the legendary dealers, the music that fills the hall, and the nights that turn into stories.
Zapp Hall features 30+ dealers each show, and the variety is part of what keeps people coming back! But, some of the names at Zapp Hall aren't just local favorites - they're social media staples with massive followings, incredible feeds, and the kind of curated style that makes you hit "add to cart" before you even get to the fields.
Leather and Vodka (@leatherandvodka) -- The brand that started it all for the new owner, Kay. Leatherandvodka revamps luxury handbags with statement leatherwork that celebrates luxury with a western edge. Their following speaks for itself & they've been a dealer at Zapp Hall for over a decade!
Sundara Style (@sundarastyle) -- A travel-touched edit of Indian-inspired boho clothing, accessories, and home decor from Kym. Thoughtfully chosen for color, comfort, and that just-right, feel-good fit. The kind of booth where you walk in and do not leave empty handed.
6 Whiskey (@6whiskey) -- Bailey curates a modern take on western style with men's and women's apparel, hats, jewelry, and home goods. From everyday staples to bold statement pieces, every item carries a hint of Texas charm and easygoing grit. Lone Star style done right.
Sunday Supper (@wearesundaysupper) -- Founded by Kate Mefford out of Fort Worth, Sunday Supper creates one of a kind collars and accessories handmade from vintage quilts, denim, and fur, paired with storied equestrian, Americana, and Texana jewelry. Every piece is unrepeatable.
Semplice Designs (@semplicedesigns) -- Mackenzie Palladino has been forging gold and threading stories into stones since her days in the Appalachian Mountains. Her signature bolo ties have landed on Lainey Wilson, Wynonna Judd, Tyler Childers, and Bob Weir, and every one is still made by hand, one at a time.
Dirty Bohemian (@dirtybohemian) -- Beth Weishuhn is a Round Top icon. Her vintage western fashion has been featured in runway shows at Festival Hill, and when she is not curating one of a kind pieces for the show, she is running The Crown Bar in La Grange. If you know, you know.
Round Top Finds Tip: Follow these dealers on Instagram before the show. They preview pieces ahead of time, and the best stuff often sells before the tents even open!
Shopping at Zapp Hall is only half the story. Honestly, for a lot of people, it is not even the main story.
Zapp Hall has built a reputation for events that turn a trip to Round Top into something people talk about for the rest of the year. If you have ever wondered why your friend came home from an antiques show talking about Prom, this is the place.
Prom Night happens every show with a new theme. Past proms have included everything from Pretty in Pink to Runaway Bridezilla. Think sequins, cowboy hats, tulle, and boots that were made for dancing. It is the kind of night where strangers become friends by midnight, and everyone leaves with a classic "Zapp Hall" story.
Fried Chicken Formal brings the perfect contradiction to life. Champagne and caviar meets fried chicken and live country music. Dress it up. Do not take yourself too seriously. That is the whole point.
Karaoke Night happens in the beer garden and is hosted by Leather and Vodka. Low stakes, high energy, and exactly as fun as it sounds. Nobody judges, everybody cheers, and someone always does a Shania song.
Live Music runs throughout the show on the Zapp Hall stage. National and local artists take the stage in the dancehall, and the sound bouncing off those 1903 rafters is something you cannot recreate anywhere else.
The reviews speak for themselves, and so do the photos. Visitors consistently talk about the energy at Zapp Hall, the one of a kind finds, the food, and the feeling of walking into a place that is genuinely unlike anything else at Round Top.
