An exclusive first look at the new Mason’s Daughter capsule, the craftsmanship behind the collection, and the Round Top stops the founder never skips.

There’s something about Round Top that makes you want to wear the good stuff. The vintage boots you’ve been saving, the jacket that makes a statement, the pieces that might not make sense together anywhere else but somehow feel perfectly at home here.

For Lyndsey Zorich, founder of Mason’s Daughter, that same instinct extends well beyond her wardrobe.

A longtime Round Top shopper with an eye for interiors, fashion, and the unexpected, Zorich has spent years collecting pieces that tell a story. Now, she’s bringing that perspective to a new Mason’s Daughter capsule, with the collection making its way to Bader Ranch for the Fall 2026 Round Top Antiques & Design Show.

In an exclusive conversation with Round Top Finds, Zorich shares the inspiration behind the new designs, the craftsmanship that connects the collection to her family’s story, and the places she makes time for when she’s in town.

A Name Built on Craftsmanship

Before there was Mason’s Daughter, there was the mason who inspired its name.

Zorich named the brand in honor of her father, whose work helped shape her appreciation for craftsmanship and the details that make something worth keeping.

“My father’s work is a meaningful part of my story and the brand’s story. There’s something special about building something with care, intention, and an appreciation for the details. I think about that when designing Mason’s Daughter.”

It’s a philosophy that feels particularly fitting in Round Top, where a piece’s history can be just as compelling as the find.

From the choice of fabrics to the finishing touches, Zorich wants her designs to feel considered without being overly precious. Clothes to live in, wear again, and eventually associate with a few good stories of their own.

A Collection Made for the Way Round Top Moves

Anyone who has spent a full day shopping the fields knows that Round Top rarely follows a perfectly curated itinerary. A morning spent digging through antiques can turn into an impromptu lunch, a stop for pie, or dinner that stretches well into the evening.

Zorich designed her new capsule with exactly that kind of day in mind.

“I wanted this capsule to capture that same spirit of discovery and individuality. A day in Round Top can take you from exploring antique booths to lunch with friends and dinner in the evening, so the pieces needed to feel special while still being effortless to wear.”

The collection introduces Cocoa Dot, an exclusive Mason’s Daughter print featured across the Twiggy Tunic and Skirt Set and the Alexis Bodysuit and Maxi Skirt. The pieces are designed to work together, but Zorich is equally interested in what happens when they’re worn separately.

For fall, she’s also leaning into the richness of jacquard with the return of the bestselling Mia Jacket, now reimagined in Multi Paisley. The jacket pairs with the new Wilder Skirt, creating a head-to-toe statement that still leaves room for individual styling.

“I love when prints feel collected rather than overly coordinated, with each piece contributing something different while still belonging together.”

It’s a sentiment that could just as easily describe a beautifully layered room filled with antiques from different eras.

The Details Worth Looking Twice At

For Zorich, the smallest design decisions often make the biggest difference.

The Twiggy Tunic features self-covered buttons and loops that allow for different ways of wearing it. The Mia Jacket takes a familiar silhouette and gives it new dimension through fabric, while the Wilder Skirt introduces something entirely new to the Mason’s Daughter lineup.

“I am always thinking about how craftsmanship, fabric, and thoughtful design can make a piece feel special without making it feel precious.”

Her attraction to pieces with personality has only grown stronger over time.

“Over time, I have found myself drawn less to things that feel perfect and more to things that have character. I love an unexpected combination, a beautiful fabric, or a vintage piece that makes you look twice.”

That appreciation for individuality and unexpected combinations is part of what makes Round Top such a natural fit for the brand.

Finding Mason’s Daughter at Bader Ranch

For the Fall 2026 show, Mason’s Daughter joins the fashion lineup at Bader Ranch, where European antiques, statement furnishings, and luxury fashion come together under one roof.

The destination, known for its collection of European furnishings, is also home to a lineup of brands including KREWE, Miron Crosby, Sissy Light, SaPeyKa, Lady Captain, Stash Style, and Moreau Paris.

It’s the kind of mix that makes Round Top interesting. One minute you’re considering an antique sourced from France, the next you’re discovering a new designer or finding the perfect accessory to wear to dinner.

For Zorich, whose designs draw inspiration from craftsmanship, individuality, and the art of collecting, the setting feels especially appropriate.

An Ohio Girl With a Texas Soul

Though her roots are in Ohio, Zorich has embraced Texas and the Western influences that have become part of her design vocabulary.

Her references range from the neckerchiefs, tall boots, and lived-in denim of mid-century Hollywood cowboys to the dramatic fringe jackets of the 1970s.

“I have always been drawn to the history, authenticity, and individuality of Western style.”

But she isn’t interested in recreating the past exactly as it was. At Mason’s Daughter, those influences appear through silhouettes, prints, and details that can be mixed with more feminine or tailored pieces.

Zorich recently returned from Paris, where she noticed Western influences styled alongside tailoring and rich shades of burgundy. It’s a combination she particularly loves for fall, along with the versatility of a great blazer and the depth that comes from mixing textures.

“I love seeing women wear cowboy boots in New York or Paris in a way that feels completely natural. To me, that speaks to the craftsmanship, heritage, and individuality that make Western style so enduring.”

There’s more on the horizon, too. Zorich revealed that Mason’s Daughter will introduce a Rodeo capsule collection in January.

What Lyndsey Is Wearing in Round Top

So how does the designer actually style her new collection for a day in Round Top?

For the Cocoa Dot Twiggy Tunic and Skirt Set, she likes the idea of wearing the full look before mixing in vintage denim to create something entirely different.

The Alexis Bodysuit and Maxi Skirt get a Western twist with a vintage concho belt, while the Multi Paisley Mia Jacket and Wilder Skirt call for boots and perhaps a camel or hunter-green cattleman hat.

It’s an approach that extends to her home, too.

“I don’t need everything to match, and I’ve never been interested in a home or wardrobe that feels too finished. I love the character that comes from mixing different periods, textures, and influences.”

In other words, the same woman who can spot a great antique knows the value of a piece of clothing that makes you look twice.

“Round Top is the perfect place to mix what you love and wear it in a way that feels entirely your own.”

The Lyndsey Zorich Round Top List

We couldn’t let Zorich go without asking for her personal Round Top recommendations. From where to dig for vintage treasures to where to end the evening, here are six stops on her list.

Bader Ranch: A memorable dinner, plus fashion finds from Mason’s Daughter, SaPeyKa, and more.

Royers: A slice of their famous pie.

Excess: Digging for hidden treasures.

Lulu’s: Drinks and a fun evening.

The Compound: A quick bite or a leisurely meal.

NAN Collective at the Compound: One-of-a-kind vintage finds.

Consider this your starting point. The best Round Top days still leave plenty of room for a little unexpected discovery.

The Best Things Aren’t Always Planned

Ask Zorich whether she approaches her wardrobe the same way she approaches collecting for her home, and the answer is immediate.

“Absolutely. I am drawn to things that evoke a feeling, whether it’s a piece of clothing, an antique, or something I discover while traveling.”

It’s perhaps the clearest expression of what connects Mason’s Daughter to Round Top.

Neither is really about collecting more for the sake of more. It’s about finding pieces that speak to you, making them your own, and letting them become part of your story.

“The pieces I treasure most are often the ones I’ve found unexpectedly and held on to over time.”

Lyndsey Zorich

The new Mason’s Daughter capsule feels like an invitation to dress with that same spirit. Mix the prints. Wear the boots. Add the vintage belt. Buy the piece that makes you look twice.

After all, some of the best finds are the ones you never went looking for.
